Ashwagandha Tonic – Ancient Ayurveda (India)

Context & Origin:
Ashwagandha has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for over 3,000 years as a natural adaptogen. It helps balance cortisol, reducing stress and improving mood.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder
  • 1 cup warm milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the milk and stir in ashwagandha and cinnamon.
  2. Sweeten with honey if desired.
  3. Drink at night to promote relaxation.
