Rose Petal & Cardamom Mood Tea – Ancient Persia & India

Context & Origin:
In Persian and Indian cultures, rose was known for its emotional healing and heart-opening properties, while cardamom was believed to lift mood and calm the nerves.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon dried rose petals (edible)
  • 1 crushed green cardamom pod
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Optional: a dash of saffron or honey

Instructions:

  1. Steep rose petals and cardamom in hot water for 7–10 minutes.
  2. Add saffron or honey for deeper calming effects.
