Slippery Elm & Marshmallow Root Tea

Context & Origin:
Used by Native American and traditional herbalists, both herbs soothe the gut lining, reduce inflammation, and promote mucus membrane healing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp slippery elm powder
  • 1 tsp marshmallow root
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions:
Steep herbs in hot water for 10 minutes. Strain and drink once daily for up to 14 days.
