Ancient Ayurvedic Liver Cleanse Tea (India)

Context & Origin: This tea is rooted in Ayurveda, where turmeric and ginger are used to reduce pitta dosha and cleanse the liver.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp dried ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 2 cups water

Instructions: Boil all ingredients for 10 minutes, strain, and sip warm throughout the day.

Duration: 7–14 days
Drink daily in the morning or throughout the day.
Used seasonally (e.g. spring cleanse) in Ayurvedic tradition.
